Opening the ACT Care Awards to the Global Creative Community

Each year, the ACT Care Awards opens the first round of judging to creative talent worldwide. This initiative aims to highlight outstanding advertising campaigns addressing social and environmental causes, while inspiring the creative community with examples that demonstrate the industry’s power—and responsibility—to shape a better and fairer world.

This year, a diverse group of 29 creatives minds from 18 countries was selected to serve on the Jury. “The idea is to bring together a variety of perspectives, from different types and sizes of agencies,” says Sophie Guerinet, Co-founder of ACT Responsible. “This year, we have ten creatives from networks, sixteen from independent agencies, and two independent consultants.”

Over the summer, the jurors reviewed and ranked the ACT Responsible annual collection—131 entries created by 74 agencies across 32 countries, supported by 97 advertisers—using a high-performance online platform developed by AdForum, long-time partners of ACT Responsible and a gateway to the global creative community. The judges are asked to take into account multiple criterias while judging such as the originality of the idea and quality of execution, the societal impact and emotional resonance (mindprint), the respect shown to all stakeholders, and above all, the concrete impact on beneficiaries.
