Creativity for the greater good.
The ACT Care awards celebrate creative campaigns that drive positive social and environmental change. These awards recognize efforts focused on a wide range of issues, including public health, environmental sustainability, social justice (such as disability rights and human rights), public safety, and other critical societal concerns like homelessness, domestic violence, and education.
Established in 2008 in collabortation with the European Association of Communication Agencies in partnership with the European Parliament, the awards aim to encourage dialogue, share best practices, and accelerate behavioral changes on major global issues.
Godmother of the awards
Dita Charanzovà
Former Vice President of the European Parliament.
“Participating as a Jury Chair from 15-23 left a strong mark on me. I am impressed at how such difficult stories and their messages were expressed so effectively in just a matter of minutes. Communication is a tool that can have a strong impact, and not only in a business environment. The ACT Care Awards recognise excellence in this form of communication to change people’s behaviour for the benefit of the consumer and society as a whole. Instead of drawing attention to a product, these campaigns highlight everyday problems that are too often ignored in a way that inspires action.”
Focus on 3 Categories.
NGOs & Foundations
Non-profit organisations and non-governmental bodies — an organisation that exists for educational or charitable reasons and from which its shareholders or trustees do not benefit financially. An organisation created by private persons or organisations with no participation or representation of any government.
Governments & Institutions
Government bodies and related organisations — an organisation that is the governing authority of a political unit, the ruling power in a political society and the apparatus through which a governing body functions and exercises authority.
Companies & Businesses
Corporate governance (CSR) — corporate campaigns that promote care for safety, youth, communities and the environment.
One Award, two Special Juries & a Youth Favourite.
The ACT Care Awards stand out for their thorough evaluation process, involving multiple juries that bring unique, cross-sectional insights to each competing campaign. These juries play a vital role in ensuring that campaigns meet three essential criteria: creativity of the idea, quality of execution, and impact on beneficiaries. They also verify that each campaign aligns with expert perspectives, providing a well-rounded and balanced assessment.
This jury is open to creative talent from all around the world willing to participate. The members judge all entries online and select the campaigns to be part of the shortlist.
Jury of Experts
The members are selected for their expertise in the communication field as agencies, advertisers, institutions, and NGOs. Under the lead of the President they elect the winners.
A special distinction chosen by students exclusively, offering a fresh perspective and highlighting what resonates most with younger audiences. Judging closed on November 15th, 24.
